Maria McDonald serves as Chief People Officer for Heritage Grocers Group, leading the company's human resources strategy and initiatives that support its People First culture. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, labor relations, and business transformation, Maria has held leadership positions across the food and consumer products industries. Most recently, she served as Group Vice President of Human Resources for Chedraui USA, where she supported more than 25,000 team members and played a key role in acquisition integrations and organizational growth. Her career also includes leadership roles with McCormick & Company, Campbell Soup Company, ConAgra Foods, Leprino Foods, and Foster Farms. Maria holds an MBA from California State University, Stanislaus, and a bachelor's degree in Finance and General Management from Eastern Washington University.
