Gil Salazar is Chief Information Officer of Heritage Grocers Group, overseeing technology strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data and analytics, and enterprise systems. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across retail, financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Heritage Grocers Group, Gil served as Senior Vice President and CIO for Stater Bros. Markets, where he led transformative technology initiatives that enhanced operations, strengthened customer experiences, and supported growth across a 170-store organization. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership roles with Hyundai Capital America, AIG Financial Services, Ford Motor Credit, and ConAgra Foods. A Navy veteran and active community leader, Gil holds a Master of Science in Food Industry Leadership from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Liberty University.
