David Hinojosa serves as Chief Executive Officer of HeritageGrocers Group, bringing more than 30 years of grocery and retail leadershipexperience to this role.

He began his career at age 17 as a part time night stockerat Walmart while attending Whittier College. David later spent 17 years at H EB, where he served in both corporate and regional leadership roles. Hisbackground also includes executive positions at Metcash in Australia, Makro inThailand, ShopRite in the Northeast, and most recently as Chief OperatingOfficer at Vallarta Supermarkets.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Finance andhas completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and CornellUniversity. He also serves on the boards of WAFC and FMI.
